Pushing through to the starting line

Hello, all you wonderful people!
I’m less than a month away from my new middle school teacher job. I’m working part-time at a small newspaper in another county. The money from work helps, but I’m still struggling to make ends meet until I start full-time teaching. I can’t work many jobs because my arthritic knees are so painful that standing for long periods or lifting things isn’t possible. (I’ve learned how to navigate a classroom with my disability.) I plan to keep my promise to close this page on Aug. 11, the first day of the rest of my life. But I am putting in a little nudge to push toward making our goal and help me pay rent, groceries, and gas over the next few weeks. Remember, any amount works. And all gifts are greatly appreciated. You can find me here, on PayPal at newsmanone@gmail.com, Venmo is @newsmanone, Zelle is @newsmanone, or by my phone number, which is 515-371-9453. My address remains 1217 24th St., Apt. 36, Des Moines, IA 50311.
The end of these messages nears, just as the beginning does for me.
With love and hope,
Daniel P. Finney
